Black & white photograph of Henri d’Artois, Comte de Chambord (1820-1883), grandson of France, Duc de Bordeaux, prince of the French royal family, head of the Capetian House of Bourbon. Grandson of King Charles X, head and last representative of the eldest French branch of the House of Bourbon, he was a pretender to the French crown from 1844 until his death as Henri V.
