Basket
Lidded birch bark basket with rectangular base and rounded-corner lid, decorated with a knife-scraped symbolic motif. The various pieces of bark that make up the container and lid are sewn together with spruce roots. For decorative purposes, some of the stems that encircle the container opening are dyed black. Moosehide strap.
