The dish is complete; it has been repaired with wire. It is rectangular and octagonal in shape. It has two handles and rests on an octagonal base. The horizontal handles are located at the ends of the dish, in line with the axis of the rim. They are the same width as the end of the dish, rectangular in shape and recessed in the center lengthwise; in cross-section, they are oval in cross-section. The base has two juxtaposed circular holes running right through it, at its junction with the base. In cross-section, the dish has a flared wall topped by a flared rim with a smooth contour. The lower part of the wall is curved and rests on a foot. The foot is flat and free of glaze. The bottom is recessed and flat. The body is pinkish-beige with quartz inclusions. The glaze is a slightly greenish white. Four linear bead marks, two of which are aligned and arranged in a triangle, are visible on the reverse of the object, on the handle and wall, on the wall and on the wing. The dish has two long cracks, from the bottom to the edge; one of these is reinforced with two rusty iron wires; they run right through the dish, each in a pair of small circular holes. The ends of the wires are knotted to the back of the dish. The left-hand handle has been reattached to the dish by means of two rusted iron wires; they pass right through the handle and dish in two small circular holes, and their ends are knotted to the back of the dish ; The decoration is hand-painted in polychrome. It has been traced in dark blue and painted in blue underglaze, with polychrome highlights of green, yellow, red and black overglaze. It features a flower basket and compartmentalized braid. The decoration is applied to the inside of the dish, both under the rim and on the base. Under the inner rim is a horizontal braid outlined in dark blue and painted blue with red and yellow highlights. The braid is decorated with a reserved, repeated motif, the elements of which are arranged in a mirror-like fashion. The main motif, in reserve, is a central half-flower framed by two scrolls. These are set between two wing-shaped quarter-flowers, from which emerge a scroll embellished with leaves. The flowers and leaves are adorned with red radiating lines, while the core is highlighted in yellow. This group is delimited at each end by a reserved tongue, with a smaller tongue in the middle, painted yellow and with a vertical black line at its center. The upper surface of both handles, as well as their outer edges, are adorned with blue-painted pearls; some of the pearls are scattered. The central motif at the center of the dish consists of a wicker basket filled with flowers. The basket rests on a low base that appears to be made of fawn feet, and rests on a small terrace. Made with a straight horizontal line, the terrace is drawn in dark blue, almost black, and painted blue; the base is drawn in dark blue and painted green with yellow highlights. The basket is truncated cone-shaped, with flared sides at the top and flat bottom. It is made of vertically curved plant stems drawn in dark blue, almost black, and painted blue, while the filling is made of thin horizontal lines painted red; its rim has yellow highlights. It is filled with a few large flowers, leafy branches, grapes and two bunches of grapes with a hanging tendril. These plants are drawn in dark blue or black; some are painted in blue, others in red and green, and some have highlights painted in yellow and black. The flowers painted in the central vertical axis of the basket, which are superimposed, act as a dividing line between the two areas on either side of this axis: the flowers, leaves and grapes in them are arranged in mirror effect on either side of this axis. The central flower is seen from three-quarters up, while the adjacent flowers are seen from the front.
