Baking pot

The pot is complete. It is circular in shape. In profile, the wall is domed, the shoulder is rounded and the neck is narrowed; the rim is flared and the top is domed. The base is straight, and the flat bottom rests on three feet arranged in a triangle made from a folded boudin. The pot has a vertical handle with an oval cross-section and three vertical grooves on the face; its ends rest on the rim and on the wall at mid-height. The body is beige and well-fired. The inner surface of the object and a portion of the handle are covered with a green-colored glaze. There is an engraved mark below the bottom, in three registers: C(ollection) (Nouvelle-Fra)nce (Chambly) Québec ; Aucun.
