Baking pot
The pot is complete; one handle has been broken off and repaired with glue. It is circular in shape. The wall is tapered at the top and thick. The rim is bulging, with a domed top. The base of the wall is rounded and curved towards the bottom, which is almost flat. The pot has two wide, vertical handles with a flattened oval cross-section. Attached to the upper part of the wall, only their lower end is folded down and resting on the wall. The body is a well-cooked orange-red color. The outer surface of the pot, with the exception of the underside of the bottom, is covered with a yellowish-white coating or slip. The inner and outer surfaces of the pot, with the exception of the underside of the bottom, are covered with glaze, which also covers the top of the rim and the handles. The underside of the bottom is stained with soot; none other than the yellowish-white coating or slip that covers the sum of the rim and the outer wall, and which also forms slides on the upper outer half of the pot, the top of the handles; there are also a few slides under the inner rim. The outside of the handles, molded separately, is decorated with barely perceptible vertical bulges.
