Arrow belt
Triple-hearted arrow belt edged with lightning bolts. The belt is made of red, green, yellow, white and blue wool. The colors come from natural dyes. It consists of 3 sewn-together bands. The braiding has 5 mirrored corridors. The bangs are frayed, almost non-existent: a wool thread is sewn to their base.

Historical context
Bien que cette ceinture fléchée semble tressée d’une seule trame, elle est composée de 3 bandes cousues. Cette caractéristique s’observe uniquement sur les ceintures de factures anciennes, au moins antérieures à la moitié du 19e siècle. Les ceintures de confection plus tardives arborant un motif à triple cœur comme celle-ci sont tressées d’une seule trame, reflétant une bonification de la technique au cours du temps.
