Arrow belt
Double herringbone arrow belt. The belt is made of thick wool in mauve, pink, blue and white. The colors come from synthetic dyes. An artisan’s label is sewn onto one end. Bangs are braided at one end and sheathed at the other.

Historical context
Cette ceinture fléchée a été confectionnée par Lucie Lavigne (1931-2023), une artisane reconnue au Québec. Ayant beaucoup œuvré pour la diffusion et la transmission du fléché, elle est également la fondatrice de l’Association québécoise des artisans de ceinture fléchée.
