Arrow belt
L’Assomption” style arrow belt with lightning bolt motif, made of 13 corridors. The sash is made of red, white, black, yellow, green and blue wool, the colors of which seem to come from natural dyes. Half of another sash has been added and sewn, with its border rolled and sewn.

Historical context
La fusion de deux ceintures fléchées en une seule confère à cette pièce une singularité. Une ceinture fléchée nécessitant plusieurs centaines d’heures de travail, cette démarche est audacieuse et peu conventionnelle. Bien qu’elle soit large, cette pièce n’est pas assez longue pour être utilitaire. Ainsi, il s’agit probablement d’une ceinture d’apparat.
