Anchovy paste pot

The pot is complete. It is circular in shape, with a straight, thick wall. The top of the wall has a flat, narrow shoulder, and a recessed annular neck with a slightly domed top. The inside of the pot is concave. The pot rests on a foot in line with the wall, with a flat, wide, glaze-free base. The underside of the base is recessed and flat. There is an intaglio mark on the underside of the base: 30; None.
